Late Nights @ MamaSan - June Onwards

MamaSan on Bath St is one of Glasgow's most stylish Restaurant/Bars and from June onwards we'll also have some of Glasgow's hottest DJ talent. The venue itself has a 200 capacity with an intimate dancefloor at the rear and a rather tasty custom Martin Audio PA System. And if that wasn't enough selected Beers + Cocktails are Half Price every weekend.
FRIDAYS
In the bar every Friday we have on a rotational basis the likes of DJ Ferrero, Andy Piacentini, Steven Coyle, Jukebox DJ's + Funktifeyeno spinning some quality tunes. Expect to hear Deep House, Funk, Soul, Disco, Boogie all expertly mixed by these guys.
SATURDAYS
In the club on Saturdays we have monthly events from some of the best talent Glasgow has to offer. And look out for some very special guest DJ's and Live Acts lined up over the coming months......
CLUBSOLE (1st Sat of Month)
Solemusic’s clubbing arm has been putting on club nights for more than a decade and with guests such as Joey Negro and DJ Spinna in the past, the night has always been about quality house music. Expect mid-tempo grooves, house with a tinge of soul and a smattering of classics from residents Stevie Sole Middleton and Steven Coyle.

Disco aficionado’s Funktifeyeno + Piacentini bring you some of the finest selections from their vast record collections. Vinyl freaks, both of them for over 20 years, their DJ sets cross many genres from the 60’s Soul, Disco, 80’s Boogie, early House and many of their own Re-Edits and Re-Works - music to make you DANCE! DANCE! DANCE!

Slo-Mo's resident band of intrepid disco jockeys explore the history of underground dance music from the past 50 years mixing up soul, funk, disco, and house with a mature attitude and a youthful passion.

OOFT! (Last Sat of Month)
OOFT! DJs will be laying down 4 hours of neat beats for like-minded souls. Not afraid to go cross-genre skiing from 70s funk, 80s soul, 90s hip-hop, noughties house and with more exclusive edits and remixes than you can shake a stick at. This should make a perfect start to the weekend for those who like their music more funky than fashionable, more cosmic than kitsch, and above all more good than tosh.

This Friday see's the debut @ MamaSan of the Jukebox DJ's. Having been spinning away at their monthly events for a year or so down in a dark little basement on Queen St, the guys have spread their wings and we're glad to have them up at MamaSan.
With resident DJs Garry O'Pray & Nicky Wright spinning some vinyl belters from their record boxes.. Ska, Reggae, Soul, Psych, Indie, Rock n Roll and anything else that has the sound...

This Saturday the Slo-Mo residents will be taking over Mamasan's hallowed dj booth to bring some of our deep, midtempo groove to Bath Street.
Yes, your favourite eclectricians will be let loose with crates full of funky, ass shaking, soul drenched boogie, mid tempo house and full flavoured disco edits on the 3rd Saturday of every month.
Entry is free all night and we will be sneaking in some top class guest djs every now and again as well so keep an eye on facebook for further details.
